SMA Extreme Weapons Program Explained
At Safeguard Martial Arts, our Extreme Weapons Program is a unique weapon and tricking based program. It was designed to give students – who love the concept of working with weaponry, the ability to develop far beyond the basics into high level performance ability.
Lead by weaponry expert himself, Sensei Troy, this Langley-based weapons class was developed to deliver both a skill – as well as an artform of mindful and insightful weapons use.
Sensei Troy has worked with some of the best weapons experts and specialists in the industry, and has a passion for the art of weapon’s handling, which is something his students quickly recognize and seek to emulate week after week.
The program features bo, nunchaku and kama; offering everything from beginner to advanced level techniques, which students can learn at their own pace.
From fast-moving handiwork, to a flowing stance and the type of intricate choreography you may see with weapons scenes in a movie; Sensei Troy takes our Extreme Weapons Program and turns it into a performing art.
