Junior Martial Arts Class in Langley – Age Groups & Benefits
Do you have a child between the ages of 5-12? Safeguard has discovered that this is the ideal age for our ‘bring a buddy day’.
We provide 2 separate Junior Program age groups, including 5 to 7 years, and 8 to 12 years. This encourages age-appropriate learning and accelerated development for each age division.
As well, as discussed in our blog – Langley Junior Martial Arts: Helping Educate 5-12 Year Old’s Beyond a Skillset…
Our programs go far beyond teaching children how to block, punch and kick.
- We teach important life skills – the mental and emotional tools that enable your child to achieve their highest potential, encouraging them to become completely capable, confident and successful.
- We teach children to stand up for themselves, their peers and their truths, through our interactive Bully Buster Program.
- We teach caution, common sense, and the simplicity of making good choices through our age-appropriate Anti- Abduction Program.
- We teach respect, by giving respect in return
…skills by breaking techniques down into smaller components
…discipline, increased confidence, focus and work ethic
Have a 13 or over youth who could also benefit from the above? Check out our teen martial arts page here.
